Media demonstrate that how to constructed man or women images.

As we can see that , media are impacting the world ,one of the impact is demonstrate that how to constructed man or women images, and i am going to give some examples to prove it up . Some media such as magazine , film and advertising, by using gender stereotypes to explain how to become a mainstream “man” and “women” , for example , base on some notes that we had discuss in class , the dominant ideal is epitomised by some stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Clint Eastwood , the “hero” and “real man” figure continues to be enormously popular in film or tv , to emphasize that in this view,there is some cultural differences between on the local images and the Western one,local culture is not so sight of heroism, but Western are .The Western people will think that they have abillities to control all the thing on this world , so that when there are disaster in this world somewhere ,the western people will help and solve that and they will think that there are hero . Also , magazine will constructed the men / women images, for example , “Men’s uno “ tell men how to become a real man daily life’s detail , “Beauty and Hair magazine” tell woman that they should make themselves more beauty and charming, so that the will become a real women completely ,and silmming advertising instilled fiber and silm body is beautiful values for women ,fitness advertising instilled strong and muscle body is awesome vales for man . News media is a definer

As we can see that , when our society become modern day by day  , we receive and transmit information through multimedia , so that , the importance of the media inner increasingly high, in other words , that means , our form of life to a certain extent also defined by the media .

let me give you some example , gender stereotypes is one of a thing that media affects our definition of gender impressions. in gender stereotypes , men and womenn with different gender stereotypes to distinguish .Men are defined as strong and muscular body , girl are defined as delicate , slender type. There gender stereotypes concepts are spread through advertisements and news ,etc. so that we can see ,when a men that he is not enough strong and muscular ,  a women that she is not enough delicate and slender type, under the influence of the media of social enlightenment , those men and women will be defined as inadequate physical standards and not enough beauty and unhealthy .But in fact , when you walking in the street , you will see that ‘Sub-standard’peoples more that ‘up-to standard’ peoples, but under the influence of the media information ,people always have ‘ society had a lot of physical standard people, so their own sub-standard is flawedd ‘ wrong concept.

For my view, sometimes it means one of the reason that media images detached from the external world and media plays an important role for the event and image definition.

Mobile technologies can blur the boundary of private and public spaces

As you can see, when mobile technologies become more improve everyday , mobile technology ’s products not just only for calling others , it more liked a pocket pc,when you take out your smart phone such as iPhone/iPad .etc. You can use them for surfing on the internet or play games , so that ,when city people have free time , they will take out their pocket pc to pass the time , and we call them “Phubbing”people. it will make people just focus them-self only , neglected to get along and difficult to communicate with each others. 

In addition to affecting peoples communicate with others , mobile technologies also blur the boundary of private and public space.Many of young peoples love to use social apps such as Instagram.when they uploaded their daily life’s happened and share it for others on instagram , the others instagram user can checked it out, For example,when i wanna share a photo about having a great dinner with my friends on a nice place, i can upload a photo or video on instagram , and then add a hashtag or GPS location ,the others user can see it very easy by using instagram. This shows us mobile technologies narrowing the space of public and personal sense of distance. Everyone can checked out your daily happened easily when you keep updating your instagram status .

In conclusion , i think that mobile technologies can blur the boundary of private and public and affected peoples information update rate .

Medium is the Message

McLuHan ’s most famous aphorisms ‘the medium is the message”.For me , i am totally agreed.How important that when the technology become better day by day ?I think one of the potential effect of mass media(technology) is helping people to build up their public concern by using media.So that one of the importance of mass media is showing what happened or happening on our world for us as soon as possible.

 Some hi-end brand such as LV , GUCCI , DIOR ,CHANEL .etc.

They usually use many advertisement or sponsor to show how luxury of their brand are.For example, "Chanel no.5 cologne ’s advertisement ",they invited Brad Pitt to show people ‘when human using Chanel no.5 cologne , they will become feel like more highly level of society position and more luxury ‘concept. So we can see that , the influence of mass media can affect people as far as our way to thinking and decide to reflect people how to show up their self-worth vales by using the products on this sample.

Moreover , i believe that when technology become better per day , people will more rely on media to receive daily happen of our world news ,it is good for people to exchange their message from others , but at the same time , when we losing our self  ability to judge the authenticity of message by using media egregiously, it is terrible that the media would affect our values directly.

For my personal experience, social media is a part of my daily life. When i get free times or not ,i may usually use my iPhone/mac book to get connecting on the internet.So today , i will focus on my individual browsing preferences .

Honestly,i am a hardcore instagram user , i use instagram to follow what thing or which people i interested .Also , absolute majority of my friends are instagram user too ,so that when i using instagram, i can checked out my friend’s up to date happened easily.Similarly, they can checked out my recent when i keep updating my personal status or photos  on my instagram account .

As you can see  , base on this point ,for my view,i think that social media can help people understand each other better when they are apply using internet/ social media browser enthusiastically.

on the other side , people who are not actively or interested on internet/social media apps(they are usually old people or poor areas peoples), when our modern world become more science and technology day by day, they might make themself more detached from each other whose using social media to exchange information .
