To a
larger extent, I agree that the mobile technologies blur the public and private
space. It is estimated that over 80% population have their mobile phone
with smart social network apps, such as Facebook and Instagram. Using
these apps, they can keep a close touch with their friends and family,
disregarding the distance between them and the others. They habitually
look at their mobile phone or mobile tablet when they are waiting bus or
working in their office, so as to check any updated message from friends or
chat direct over apps. It seems that most
of their private life associated with these advanced mobile technology.
It is not surprised that you may meet
someone playing music loudly without their earphone or watching video on their
phone without consideration about the feeling of others passengers on public transports
and Fast-food shop. They are too concentrate
on their own programme and treated the public space as their bedroom. They never consider whether such of these behavior
are appropriate to do in public space.
In my view, doing private business in public space would surely leak our
privacy which, as a result, lead us to a dangerous situation. We never know the one next to you in public
space is a good guy or not. If he/ she
has ill intention, he/she may make use of the information got from our dialogue
or conversation or messages to do illicit things against us. Thus, protecting us from any damages, minimize
and avoid doing private business in public space.
In sum, it is hard to say those advanced
technologies exercise positive or negative influence over people. As said, it can shorten our distance between
us and others, but improper use of the technologies will lead us a danger. Whether they are good or bad to people
depends much on the people’s manner of using those technologies.

Dear Stephanie, the discussion here is nice despite it would then look like what you might have written for the earlier blogs. You may think about whether your arguments make use of uses and gratifications theory here. It is relevant and may help you provide arguments with the support of theoretical perspective.
