Media image is one of the resources that
people getting information from somewhere. It can means a lot of thing, for
example, photo, shop window, poster or even an advertisements. I would like to
focus on how photo images affected our society now a days.
Photo images not only drawing people
attention, it can tell people information as well. Photo image is also representing
the company or organization the point of view. For example, Macdonald is selling
burger, KFC is selling deep fly chicken etc. When people saw the photo image
about Macdonald, they will think about burger. It’s because the image told them
that Macdonald was selling burger. So there is an ideology created inside
people’s head. When people saw anything about Macdonald, they will think of
burger automatically.
The relationship between media images and
the external reality is unbreakable. When people don’t see any more about the
media images, they will not only lost an opportunity to learn something news,
they might have a suspicion about the truth as well.
