Since smartphone has arisen, it assists us in daily life.
For example, we can use the compass in the phone when we get lost; also we can
take notes though the memorandum app. We can use our smartphone to solve our
daily problem and make thing easier.
As the growth of the mobile technologies, the deeper blur
has derived between our private and public space. Before smartphone occurred,
if us did not know how to get somewhere, we could stop to ask a stranger. But
now the Google map can get us there, it reduces communication between people.
Otherwise when we at home which is our private space
before smartphone occurred. And now we would share our “home life” to social
media such as the moment of making a dinner. Also we now have some ‘group chat’
platform for us to communicate with friends just like we hang out with them for
updating our life, but lower physical interaction with friends.
Communication is a vital thing for a society. It was
always one of the key roles of public spaces, observing and exchanging with the
other. Because smart phones are supplying so many of these services, this kind
of exchange with others is just diminished to almost zero.”

Dear Shun Hei, Thanks for your sharing. A bit more analytical elements can be added here though. For example, you can talk about the impact on your life in more depth - are you under your own surveillance by updating your profile pics, information, etc.? This can help you go beyond the mere description of personal experience.
