In the media world, it has shaped many different images, style and characteristics of specific group people. One of the most common stereotype - “Native People”. In many hollywood movies, we can see the Native People has the similar features. They have shaped them with violent, brutal, barbaric and wild image.
For example, in many famous movie such as “King Kong”, at the first half, when the historian grew went in the island, then they had been captured from the native, and the native were trying to slaughter and eat them. Also there’s a new movie coming up in “The Green Inferno” in November. Basically, the movie is about how a group of people went in an island and the Native try to kill them all. From these two example, you can already see how the hollywood movies had created the image of the Native people to the audience of the world.
But actually, in the Discovery Channel, the have visited the real Natives in the world, they are not what we used to see on the big screen. They are peace, well-managed group people, for example, the American Natives hunted buffalo, the African Natives hunted tiger, none of them had hunted human.
From this, we can see there are many media images that are detached from the external world, the thing that we see on the screen might not fully represented the reality.

Dear Adrian, I am glad that you can discuss images of ethnic group in media. You can try to provide possible reasons for the various representations of the same ethnic group in media. This would make the essay more analytical.
